Jennifer Rosebush is an aspiring Canadian artist who currently lives in Cambridge, Ontario.
Jennifer is self taught
and has no formal training. She prefers to draw using graphite, but eagerly tries new mediums when inspired. She recently
began using coloured pencil to add a different dimension to her work. She has also dabbled in painting with acrylic and water
colour and has begun to explore the world of sculpture too.
The realism in works by such artists as Robert Bateman,
David Dancey-Wood, Terry Miller, J.D. Hillberry, Richard Brown to name a few, inspires Jennifer to try to create that same level
of awe in her audience.
When Jennifer isn’t busy with her art, she can be found outside either jogging with the
dog, or out walking with her camera... although she’ll often say that it’s hard to capture the same of the outdoors that
your eyes take in with a camera. That’s why most of what Jennifer captures with her camera are the things you most often
miss with your eyes, from the details in the centre of a flower, to the way the light reflects in a cats eyes or the tiny hairs
on the back of a fly.
When she isn’t creating art or jogging, Jennifer’s greatest joy is hanging out with her
family, the love of her life - Steve, her beautiful daughter - Ashley, her wonderful step daughters - Celyne and Emma, and of course
her furry children - Harley the hyper active boxer, and two cats Abby and Gary... all of whom are a constant inspiration to her as
well as her personal cheering section every day.
